Dr. Organics: Moroccan Argan oil Hand and nail balm

Yes, you may have noticed that I do have a thing for Moroccan and Argan oil. I presume it's the smell and at that I find it difficult to describe the smell of Argan oil, I suppose I would call it luxurious.
Over the past couple of months we haven't been blessed with the best of weather and without a doubt the cold weather has a huge impact on your skin. Many people notice the skin on their body getting dry and continuously apply moisturiser to reduce dry patches but the same can't be said for our hands.
It is very easy to forget about moisturising your hands and with the amount of times that you wash your hands a day they are bound to get dry every now and again.
Before Christmas was when I noticed mine becoming itchy and sore and I knew I needed to get something quick and opted for one of my favourite skin care brands which is Dr. Organics. They have a huge range of products from body scrubs to soaps and I always find myself falling in love with something else from their range. Dr. Organics is free of SLS and Parabens. Their range is divided into sections such as Olive oil, Rose Otto, Tea Tree, Moroccan Argan oil, Coconut oil etc.
This brand has worked so well with my skin in the past and it was a no brainer buy!

This product is very easy to get your hands on as they sell this range in all Holland & Barretts or can be ordered from the Dr. Organics website here. I bought mine for €8.79 and has already lasted me almost 4 months without being half way through the bottle.

Simple Shampoo & Conditioner Vs. Organix Moroccan argan oil Shampoo & conditioner

I have been on a hunt for the most gentle shampoo and conditioner for the past couple of weeks and found that even some of the gentlest ingredients weren't doing the job!

I came across the Simple duo 2 weeks ago and have used it 4 or 5 times since. The shampoo is really deep cleansing and lathers very easily But, yes but, the conditioner did nothing for my hair.
With such a cleansing shampoo your hair is left quite straw like and in need of a thick conditioner and that will leave your hair feeling silky and unfortunately that is not what you got with this set. I had really high hopes  as I love using their face products and think their eye makeup remover is one of the best on the market but really find anything spectacular about the set. I think I will use the shampoo every now and again as it is gentle on your scalp but I really can't see myself bothering with the conditioner anymore.
To be fair I picked them up for a great price and can't deny them that they are purse friendly.
Now for less moaning and for a more hair loving shampoo and conditioner. The Organix Moroccan and Argan oil shampoo set is probably the nicest sets I have used in a long time. This set contains Vitamin E aswell as the moroccan oil that leaves your hair shiny and frizz free. I use the shampoo as any other and leave the conditioner in for a couple of minutes to let it soak in. Although they are a bit more pricey than the Simple set , I think that it is money well spent. After using this I love applying the Dr. Organics Moroccan and argan oil serum half way through blow drying to make the smell last even longer.
Get your hands on this set in here or head into your local Boots!

Balmi: EOS Balm Dupe

Over the past couple of years something that has been raved about by many Bloggers in the US
are EOS balms. I have to admit, they are something that I have always wanted to get my hands on but haven't been too bothered about ordering them online. For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past 2 years, EOS balms are an egg shaped lip balm that come in all different flavours and are available to buy over in the US.
On a trip into Boots I stumbled across an egg shaped lip balm that was so similar the EOS balms.

The Balmi lip balms are so moisturising and come in a great range of flavours. I bought mine in the flavour Raspberry and it is gorgeous!
This balm comes in Coconut, Strawberry, Raspberry and mint and I can't wait to try the rest of them! These balms have been featured in Marie Claire, Hello and Look magazine to name a few and have been given great reviews in most articles.
They can be bought in Boots and retail for €6.99 or on the Balmi website here.

Reviews: Osmo Budget Buy

Are you looking for a hair treatment that doesn't break the bank? Well I may have found the perfect "Budget buy" for you.

If you are as unlucky as I am and have an extremely sensitive scalp that reacts differently with every Season of the year then this Beaut is definitely worth a try!
Osmo is an Intense Deep Repair mask that contains Patchouli and Ylang Ylang oils to leave your hair shiny, reduce frizz and overall protect the scalp. How bad?
It's available in 100ml, 250ml and 1200ml to suit everyones needs. I like using the 100ml because it comes in a squeezy tube and the others come in tubs that like to collect water in the shower. It can be used whatever way you want but I find using it once or twice a week is enough to keep you scalp feeling healthy and clean. Leave in for about 5 minutes, comb through (occupy time by shaving) et voila!
This bad boy can be bought in Sallys for less than €4 and is definitely worth trying out if your hair feels limp and frizzy. Check out the Osmo website here
